Dear SI moderators,
I was wondering if there is any way to screen the ads on the SI website?
Namely, there was an advertisement on SI promoting the Harry Potter complete series (through AbeBooks). I doubt that SI wants to promote the occult, so is there any way to fix this?
I do not believe that SI can if I am remembering correctly.
I'm not saying you searched for Harry Potter, but could someone using your computer searched for that? Because whatever I search for shows up on FB and here, etc. Example, early this week I searched for smart wool socks for my son hiking and that's what I just saw today on SI.

To the right of the advertisement there should be an 'X' to which you can close out that particular add. It will then ask you why you do not want to see the add anymore.
This will tweak what you see in the advertisements and more relevant information should begin to appear over time.
Lysa, that is true. I am looking at sn ad for booth graphics because I was browsing line for some the other night as I consider doing some estate planning "business outreach" so to speak.
