from the site:

After three decades of debate over its stance on homosexuality, members of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) voted on Tuesday to change the definition of marriage in the church’s constitution to include same-sex marriage.

The final approval by a majority of the church’s 171 regional bodies, known as presbyteries, enshrines a change recommended last year by the church’s General Assembly. The vote amends the church’s constitution to broaden marriage from being between "a man and a woman” to "two people, traditionally a man and a woman.”

This wording is confusing. Maybe it is because in reality they are.

Dunno why people like to be confused. You will end up feeling like an idiot...unless you have been given over to a reprobate mind which suggest you have gone beyond the point of no-return. Actually, it is a blessing to feel like an idiot when you made stupid decisions because it means you still have the ability to think honestly when the truth is presented to you.

As a teen-ager, I had like most kids, those pesky facial pimples. They came and went, and were harmless. In reality, they are tiny Staphlococcus infections that are isolated, but when those germs take hold in the bloodstream pimple germs can kill a person.

This germ was festering in the Presbyterian church when I was a kid in Sunday School learning about Moses and TULIP. It has now entered the bloodstream, and the denomination is probably doomed.

Very sad, the Presbyterians used to influence the culture for righteousness and a very substantial missions program worldwide.

Expensive old buildings with a smattering of old people going to 11:00am services and 3:00pm funerals for each other. How long will that go on?
