There are so many places and people you look on there facebook account and there is a verifiable bible verses yet there is a venir of ungodliness.

The aspects of sin are not mentioned in church anymore so nobody is convicted and people are seen in an apsect of being seperated from God.
Maybe it is me is that when I have been in a relationship and you ask people to repent which means to undo the actions that they have previously been doing to cause the problem which is the greek word metanoia repentance.

Jesus only came for sinners and it seems we live in a church that has almost forgotten this concept. He will only ever accept sinners.
As I grew in Christ I think the more I realise what I a sinner I really am. I thought I was a sinner early along in my christian walk but I slowly am realising what a sinner I really am.

In the church It is almost like Poeople have redefined what the cross means or what Jesus means or what forgiveness means. When dealing with christians in church is it as bad as we actually have to define our terms to differentiate ourselves from the cults.

The bible clearly defines sin in many different ways and there is a whole aspect of theology that deals with it.
it is hard say when you are dealing or confronting people and they do not do know they have done wrong such as confronting a hardened criminal that as say commited a crime or in the instance of say the murder at fort hood was just simply work place violence.
Or in some cases relationships in church that have liturally wrecked the whole church and that church has had to split or break apart.
People do not need Jesus if they have not sinned. We look at say the World but it is hard to find christian books that simply adhere to historic christianty as it seems we have denyied the fundementals of the christian faith as a nation and as a church and as individuals.
There are no sinners benches where people used to cry over there sin, there is no great presence of God in the church today because people do not realise that God only accepts sinners.
I have been in so many places and you try and confront people on things that they have done wrong in church and it seems that the rafifications of sin and its nature.
People want revival but they do not want to see what sinners they are.
With teachers and people like Joyce Meyer and others who say I am not a sinner and never will be a sinner.
I find it is prevalant with say the teachings of the Word of Faith heresies which seems to attract women more than men.
Or say even among theologicans such as Tom Wright with his say New Perspective of Paul which basically states that salvaiton is through the church. In the writings of Tim Keller who denies in his commentary on Galations and in his book on the Prodigal God the fact of the gospel and jumps over Galations 1.
Then you have the writings of people such as Beth Moore or Bill JOhnson.
It is so sad when we are having to actually define evangelical christianianty and the gospel in the church.
