i was speaking with someone recently, as we talked about things happening around the world it began to occur to me. some of these things happening may very well be setting the stage for more difficult times ahead. drought in the west, still struggling with cold in the east, difficulty for farmers, bird flu now hitting poultry farms, racial tensions in the midwest, the economy still struggling, unemployment still high for many younger people, the tensions in other countries, ect. while these thing in and of themselves are not unusual we are living at a time in history that is unique because of internet and 24/7 information age. there are more people then in times past, and sin has become much more widely accepted as no big deal. considering all of this i have been praying often and just feel the Lord leading that the hour grows late and as always I must be diligently in prayer and seeking to live "ONLY" unto Him. the things of this world will keep on as they are destined to, but I must keep my focus on Him daily and submitting to Him in all things.
as i read about things happening, it does not instill a sense of fear or dread in me, but rather the need to be completely clinging to Jesus in "ALL" and "EVERY" part of my life. nothing can or should be held back from Him. He is Lord, His is KING JESUS and nothing can be done with out Him. i am more convinced daily that the days of sitting on the fence are done and gone. the time is now to take up my cross and follow Him. the time is now to submit and obey Him. there can be no compromise or lukewarmness. there are no excuses, sin must be dealt with in CHRIST JESUS daily.the command to love my neighbor, to be a servant, to spend time in prayer, to lift one another up in prayer, to walk with Him and obey Him is ringing louder and louder in my ears each moment of each day.
in all of this i pray for the lost more and more. i pray for the deceived and the lost to see their need for CHRIST and repent that they might be saved.
i have no care for what tomorrow brings. tomorrow is in His hands, but while it is "TODAY" let me pray all the more and speak all the louder, "OUR LORD LIVES! OUR LORD REIGNS!!
