Discipling Healthy People:
We must understand the knowledge of right and wrong cannot deliver people from evil desires. It can actually stir up evil desires depending on how you handle it (Rom. 7).
The truths of God's character and the work of Christ are actually what empowers and heals. These truths are like an engine or a vine. They make a new life possible.
In discipleship then we must feed people on the knowledge of God. This will bring life and peace. It will foster a relationship with a Person. If this relationship isn't fostered then the disciple may look to us, the discipler, and be *utterly* let down in the end.
As Jesus said:
Call no man your rabbi for you have one teacher and you are all brothers.
