JERUSALEM, Israel -- Beloved Bible scholar and teacher Lance Lambert passed away Sunday in Jerusalem at the age of 84.

Born in Richmond, Surry, in 1931, Lambert grew up in England and came to know the Lord as a 12 year old.

Later he prepared to enter the ministry in China, but was denied entry because of the Communist revolution.

Lambert served in the Royal Air Force in Egypt in the early 1950s, where he learned the nuts and bolts of intercessory prayer. From time to time, he would remind his audiences that people who referred to themselves as intercessors often were not.

Lance Lambert was a dear brother that will be missed. I got a chance to sit in on some of his teachings at the Christian Family Conference several years ago, where he was a frequent speaker. He has some wonderful teachings on intercession that would be a blessing for you to access.

AbideinHim,

I went to the link that you provided and listened to a sermon called, "Intercession." WOW! (Date on the sermon is 07/03/2013)

I do not know what denomination he is but it doesn't matter, the sermon is right on and even hurt a bit at times. This sermon is so good, I'd get 20 or more minutes into and would start it over 4 different times this weekend! Then I printed out the pdf to the sermon b/c I was like, "I have got to get to the end of this sermon!"

Thank you so much for posting that link, I'll be listening to more!

Brother Lance gives a good scriptural foundation in these
teachings, and relates many fascinating accounts of his
dealings with intercessors.
