"In the beginning of 1998, David Wilkerson began a series of in-depth teachings on the New Covenant at Times Square Church. I thought I understood the topic, having my degree in theology; however, the real revelation of it had not registered with me. In fact, it took a year and many messages on the topic before I received the illumination from the Holy Spirit.
\tI remember well the day the understanding came. It was November 1998, and the title of the sermon Brother Dave preached was "Beware of Dogs.” During the preaching of this message, the revelation of the completed New Covenant””which was made between the Father and the Son and excludes any effort on our part””hit me like a thunderbolt. Overwhelming joy filled my heart and both relief and release from a "works” gospel were made manifest."
