MUST HEAR CARTER CONLON

I don't know how to post a link, but Carter Conlon's sermon from this morning is a must hear in my opinion. It is called "The Final Pleading of Conscience". He speaks to the final moment in time for our nation (though it is really for all humanity) before it is too late. About 20-25 mins. into the message he reads a letter from a pastor in Paris whose church is in the neighborhood where the attacks occurred Friday night. Their church was packed with a prayer meeting the night of the attacks. It is a call to stand in an hour that is very dark. Perhaps someone can post the link from the website, tscnyc.org

I'm so glad you put this message on here, Mama.

It was solemn message to say the least.

I've been tuning in (online) to their prayer night on Tuesday nights!

God bless,
Lisa

I wish many would listen. I, too, have joined the TSC prayer service on Tuesdays since its inception. There is no other hope than God's people storming heaven on our knees.

Sometimes I feel like I cannot even bear the weight of the word of the Lord. I have to take Pastor Conlon in doses some weeks because of my own heart. This was one of those.
It is a word that should be heard, heeded and internalized.

The reason for my troubled mind is my longing for this to resonate in the hearts of people in my own backyard, but there is no one. In one of the most "church-i-fied" places on the map, there is no one of like heart and mind with regard to the things God is saying and doing in the world. I really do have to swallow some things slowly to remain encouraged at the truth instead of disheartened by it. Hence, the reason for the little prayer thing some of us did a couple of weeks ago (and, I hope last week even if we did not do so publicly; each place and person we prayed for remains in my heart and conscious prayer life).
