Commuter Churches

This is an issue that I am unsure on I have been going to a church that is in London just because of the good teaching.
It becomes hard because it is hard to evangelise in the local area or go to house groups.
How many people go to a church that is a far distance. I have tried to go to churches locally but I always find problems with them and pray it through.
How do you relate to a church that is in the heart of the Jewish community when the house prices in London are so expensive that noone has the money to live there.

It is so hard as you have jewish groups teaching that jews do not have to be saved to go to church.

I am always wondered do I continue to commute to church or do I do something else? Does anybody else commute to find Good teaching in a church?

You get some other churches that are simply commuter churches because of the music such as HTB or Soul Survivor or Hillsong that take away Youth from local

I use to attend a church 45 minutes away on a good day. The messages were solid and much growth. The issue was, the area I did street outreach in was in low income and my local area. When asked where do I attend, I would tell them the church name and there was conflict as the church was in a more wealthy area. Kind of like "why so far away??"

I eventually decided to attend a local church only 5 minutes away. Though the teaching was not as solid it was healthy. I was able to make good connections and this also increased the positive interactions on the street. We were able to break more barriers and see more fruit - this is also because many could actually get there, opposed to the other place. I was glad I made the move. Not sure if it helps, just my experience

I live in a small town on Vancouver Island, Canada, and I have been to the churches here. Having found a lack of the presence of God in all of these churches, and a lack of solid biblical teaching (one might get all the words right, but be devoid of "unction"), I actually traveled 2500 miles to visit Times Square Church last month (the presence of God was very strong there). I wish I could attend there every week, but I have to be content with the online services. The only other place where I felt God's presence that strongly was at a small outreach my friend operated many years ago.
