In prayerful memory of.......

20 children and 6 adults staff members slain at Sandy Hook Elementary school in Connecticut. Tragedy occurred on December 12th 2014.

9 precious Saints slain at a historic African-American church in Charleston South Carolina. Tragedy occurred on June 17th 2015.

One assistant professor and 8 students slain at Umpas Community College in Rosebud Oregon. Tragedy occurred on October 5th 2015.

14 people slain in San Bernardino California. Tragedy occurred on December 2nd 2015.

Respectfully posting and honor and prayerful memory of those impacted by the above tragedies.

My Brothers and Sisters.

I am setting this thread up as a solem reminder of those who have been slain. Some even nartyred their faith in Jesus. This thread will serve as a reminder for us to keep those impacted by tragedies in our thoughts and prayers. I ask this thread be treated with respect particular for those who have been impacted by these tragedies.

The Holy Spirit testifies to me that what occurred in Charleston, Rosebud, and San Bernardino are the beginning of more tragedies to follow. Thus I trust I will be adding more to this thread. I invite others to bring on this thread in remembrance of the slain or martyred. But I ask respectfully that this thread not be used as a debate. If this thread turns into that. I will ask Greg to lock it down. This thread is meant to be a remembrance of those tragically slain.

Let us keep those impacted by tragedies in our prayers.

In prayerful memory of.......

Amanda Blackburn, wife of Pastor Davy Blackburn. Amanda was a young 28 year old mother 3 months pregnant with a second child. This dear woman of God was slain during a brutal home invasion. Amanda was sexually assaulted and brutally killed as she attempted to protect her one year old son who was lying in a crib upstairs. Thankfully the one year old child is safe. Amanda is survived by her husband as well as her first child. Now she and her second child or in the presence of Jesus.

Please keep the Blackburn family in your prayers as they work through this tragedy. Please pray that good will come out of this tragedy.

Tragedy occurred in Indianapolis Indiana on November 12th 2015.

You are welcome David. I am afraid these tragedies are becoming too common. Thus it is easy to become a little to used to what is happening. Perhaps this is a self defense mechanism to guard our hearts from sorrow. This thread is simply to remind us to remember those so impacted by tragedy. And to keep them in our prayers.

Officer Garrett Swassay. This dear man of God and first responder was slain in Colorado Springs. He was responding to the attack on Planned Parenthood. This man was a co pastor in Hope Chapel in Colorado Springs. He is survived by his wife Rachel. And his two children faith 6 years old and Elijah 10 years old.

This tragedy occurred on November 27th 2015.

Please keep this family in your prayers as they have lost a husband and a father.
