The Path of the Cross

A
AbideinHim Jan 2, 2016

The path of the cross is the way to life.

I have been reading a great deal about
the underground Chinese Church the
last few days. They have embraced the
way of the cross, and many leaders such
as Joshua Yu have gone through much
suffering, but look at the fruit that it has
produced.

The corn of wheat that falls into the ground
and dies will bring forth much fruit.

Watch the videos on Sermon Index on
the underground Chinese Church, and
you will see brothers and sisters that are
full of the joy of the Lord. They are full of
the Holy Spirit and are experiencing great
hearings and deliverances.

The Church in America on the other
hand boast of it's riches, being full, self
satisfied, and in need of nothing. Yet
the Lord is calling us to repent so that
we would not be wood, hay, and stubble
but gold refined in the fire.

The cross for the most part is not being
preached in the churches in America.
Instead of denying self, the message is
"Success in life" or "your best life now".

Yes, God does bless and prosper His
people, but the principle behind this is
"Seek you first the Kingdom of God and His
righteousness, and all these things shall
be added unto you."

We need to return to a Full Gospel, all of
the Word of God. Jesus said that "the
works that I do will you do also.

We all want the abundant life that Jesus
promised to give us, and the way to the
abundant life is the path of the cross.
