Catholic Sermons on SI

His name is Walid Shoebat.. his sermons are Islam prophecy and the bible.

What about the bible well Walid says - Make No Mistake About It, The Catholic Church Has The Correct Bible, And The Protestants Have The Wrong Bible.

I am currently reviewing this. I know many evangelicals including myself who have resourced his website on Islam especially. It appears actually from my first reading of an article that he is defending the "Catholic" faith meaning Orthodox, but he might just be defending both Orthodox and Roman Catholic as a whole opposed to protestant belief.

I would like to clarify also that the title is very mis-leading in this thread, the sermons are 4 sermons on the subject of Islam and to my knowledge Walid was a baptist when he presented these.

I came across the ministry of Wahid Shoebat about a year ago. I thought him to be solid as I listened to his messages on Islam. But later as I looked at his website became concerned about his emphasis on Catholicism. But there are other things in his ministry that raise questions. For one thing he's advocating the use of arms against Muslims. On his website he has called for the raising of an armed Christian militia to go and do another crusade against the Muslims. I guess his idea of a Christian jihad.

Also there are questions about his background. He claims to be a born again terrorist. But questions arise as to whether this is true.

I would urge caution regarding the ministry of Wahid Shoebat.

My observations.

We should severely distance ourselves from anyone naming the name of Christ and advocating carnal weapons and the slaughter of people. This would make SI look like a supporter of Crusaders. Catholic church and history is demonic. When did Shoebat convert to Catholicism and has anyone challenged him?

Many in Evangelical circles today are being pulled into the use of carnal weapons because of fear of losing their lives (and their way of life, lifestyle).

After reading quite a few articles and reviewing his websites, we have removed the messages. There seems to be an extremism in everything that is written for attention and shock and awe. Some of these materials do not just borderline indecent but are morally not good for believers to view and read.

Also I fully agree that when a drum is being beaten for physical force and retaliation of any kind from a Christian this is not right. We praise God that he was delivered from the false belief of Islam but may God preserve him from other extremes in Christianity and hold fast to the Head alone, Jesus Christ.

I posted on website and challenged his doctrine.

I was met by a torrent of abuse from other posters and called names by Walid Shoebat (childish) but not the type of behaviour one would expect from a "Christian"

Good to know you challenged them. Definitely not the type of behavior one would expect from a Believer. Very revealing and very much a "bully" mentality.

The Lord stood up to the bullies and even though they crucified Him, He forgave them. We must do the same and just hope and pray they will come around, and repent of loving their false doctrine more than the Lord and His people.

Yeah, at one time Joel Richrdson was actually going to write a book with him or may have (before the Islamic Antichrist like 8-10 years ago or so), but later had to cut ties with him because of this extremism & call to arms. I heard Michael Brown politely rebuke this same call to arms in an interview on YouTube also. Don't want anything to do with Roman Catholicism or anyone who advocates the personal arming for the sake of killing of Muslims (how can you "love your enemy" while blowing them away?).

Seems like his history is very questionable and his supposed charity work
is as valid as the other guy that we must not mention.
