Looking for resources on biblical history and geography

I'm looking for resources which provide good coverage of biblical history and geography, so that I can grasp the historical context of the Bible better.

Any suggestions?

Archaeological Study Bible by Zondervan. I think it only comes in NIV, which I do not use. But the notes and articles in it are plenty and fantastic and informative. Highly recommend. Available online or at B&N or Books-A-Milion.
