Dear Brothers, I respect you as brothers in Christ. Often it is difficult to weed through all the good teachings we are exposed to in this age of great deception, but brothers everything in me was repulsed by this 'kosher pig' wording and the 'rabbi' on the link here.
I think I've listened to Art Katz enough to hear him say: something stinks in the state of Denmark or in this case Messianic Judaism! He would say that presenting Christ as a kosher pig would be egregiously and perfunctorily outrageous. This is Messianic Judaism gone mad.
Well that is what God put in my spirit this morning and I'm sticking by it.

The title of this thread caught my eye, specifically the oxymoronic term, "kosher pig". I went straight to Amazon to have a look at Rabbi Shapira's book, The Return of the Kosher Pig. I could not find a table of contents to look at and the book description is fairly vague as to what the book is about. But looking at some of the reviews did set off alarm bells to me. I did not read the book and I am not saying that the Rabbi is knowingly or purposely being heretical but it is possible that he is deceived himself. Perhaps he is trying to unify Old Testament truth with New Testament truth without letting go of anything Old Testament. Anyway, he seems to be anti-Trinitarian, specifically a modalist - someone who denies three persons of the Trinity but believes one God wears three "hats". Anyway, here is the review of his book that gives me pause:

If true, it is deception and should be avoided.
