Getting Used to the Dark by Vance HavnerHere are some things I got out of this sermon:The scene is not getting brighter but we are just getting used to the dark.We are not here to live in the dark but we are here to live in the light.Men may dwell in darkness so long that there eyes get used to it.How dangerous! We need to be 'the light of the world, A city on a hill cannot be hidden'. We will shine like a light and also our surroundings will be lite up! be weary if your surrounds don't appear lite because that speaks of your condition.How much of this world can I enjoy and still go to heaven. How near to the precipise can I get without falling over.How sad that many Christians live like this.We are laughing about things that we ought to be crying about.I really got hit by what Vance Havner said here! The Christian Church deals so lightly with what we have been entrusted with. I believe many voices on this site are shouting in the Spirit to the Church yelling 'Wake up and Christ will shine upon you'.Share what you got out of the sermon! :-D
