Dear Brother Paul,
Welcome!
It sounds like the Holy Spirit convicted you of sin and you have been sorry for what you did. If you have asked the Lord to forgive you then He throws your sin as far as the east is from the west and remembers it no more It is under the blood. He died for your sins.
The Lord works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.
He made known his ways to Moses,
his deeds to the people of Israel:
The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love.
He will not always accuse,
nor will he harbor his anger forever;
he does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us according to our iniquities.
For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
for he knows how we are formed,
he remembers that we are dust. (From Psalm 103)
Even if your uncle and aunt have died, you are forgiven. God will give you the peace that passes all understanding and use this incident as a testimony to others perhaps about being forgiven or of teaching young ones to respect their elders.
The enemy has no power over you and you can speak many scriptures to him and he will flee!!!
I have also done things that I regretted and could not make right but the Lord can make all things new. He loves us so much. Just believe that your sins were put on him at the cross. How much he loves you, dear Paul! And all who believe in Him and what He has done for us on the cross.
Thank you, Father, for your Son Jesus who took our sins upon him and suffered for us that we might be forgiven and made right with you. May we tell of the great joy of being set free in Christ!
