Quarrelling and jealousy are enemies of the Kingdom of God. They subvert it and work against the Lord of this kingdom - Jesus, the Prince of Peace, who laid down His rights. If you want to be God's friend, seek peace even at the expense of your rights. Then your heart and life will be filled with peace, and Jesus will make His home with you.
