EDIT: Changed the title because I feel I should link some more of the meetings here. See latest updates in following posts.

God's Foretold Work - Isaiah Chapters 30 and 31

The Gospel in Isaiah - "Tell Us Pleasant Things. Prophesy Illusions." - (Session 21)

https://youtu.be/jV-FwhKAEWk

This is a record of a live stream of a Bible study examining the Gospel as revealed in the book of Isaiah. You can watch it live weekly at 8:00 PM CST (Central Time/Chicago time zone) or catch the recorded stream later.

The meeting was full of great testimony and insight.

Tom Quinlan, whose YouTube this is on, also manages the site the.mysteryofisrael.org and Zion Christian Press.

Among the greatest insights I gleaned from studying the prophets is that human nature and its attendant sins/behaviors have not changed any since this was written. The sin, the people's response to God is the same and his wrath less evident today perhaps but it tarries longer and then woe on mankind when it is unleashed! If people think God's judgments were harsh back then they ain't seen nothing yet!

"Tell us pleasant things..." ah....the theme of modernism...

Streamed live on Apr 23, 2016

God's Foretold Work - We will be in Isaiah Chapter 32 tonight...

...after perhaps looking back to Isaiah 30:33 and 31:9 to consider the breath of the LORD as burning sulphur, and whose fire is in Zion and furnace is in Jerusalem.
