I Was Blessed

Dunno where I should post this: in the "Current Events" section, the "Miracles that Follow the Plow"...not sure but choose to put it here.

Today a customer came to our store and paid us $.65. Apparently she had gotten something (via the honorary system) and miscalculated the cost until she got home and noticed it. She drove all the way from Louisville to Macon - a distance of 30 miles - more or less - to pay what she owed.

How is that for honesty in this crocked world?!

Sandra, I wanted to be one that responds to this thread, as you know by looking at the views compared to the responses, that good news threads here hardly ever get many responses. This is awesome! I've been blessed by being on both ends of honest folks, I've overpaid and been chased down to correct their mistake, and I've chased down to correct my mistake, this is just folks being Christ like. Thanks for sharing.

What a wonderful testimony...

This morning at church I became aware of another blessing we are blessed with. Something many folks may not consider it as such.

Our pastor loves his wife! How do you like that??!

Occasionally, depending on the topic of his sermon, he will pay his wife the nicest compliments from the pulpit. She reacts with a sweet smile - you can sense the love flowing from one to the other...I know because we sit right behind her.

Now, ain't that sweet?

Anyhow, it makes us females feel secure and safe being around this pastor and his wife...

We are blessed having a pastor who loves his wife.
