Amen is right! I'm experiencing my own personal revival right now and I can't stop talking about it (as I'm sure many here have noticed here and are growing weary of hearing)! It's the most amazing thing that's ever happened to me and I refuse to let this fire die! The clarity that come with it is life changing! I now know the reality of the line from Amazing Grace - "Was blind but now I see."

Now, I'm all about revival and evangelism - no fear. I'll be watching this video when I get the chance, Lord willing.

Another revival video that I found super-exciting is from the Asbury Revival. Just... wow!

Brother Neil,

Thank you brother for sharing this incredible and amazing video with us. John Sung seemed to be like John the Baptist in his strong messages that truly brought strong conviction and repentance in the hearers. The anointing of the Holy Spirit seemed to be on him in a very powerful way, and it is amazing that we have heard so little about him. May the Lord give us more evangelists like this man with true Holy Ghost power that will revive the church as well as save the lost.

you are so very welcome!....how could I NOT bring brother John to your and everyone's attention, if I love you all?

besides the big book by Levi, the first book I read was written and self published by a Chinese dentist, Dr. Stephen Sheng who lived in Michigan (I think)I called him, and this dear man was wonderfully intense, oh man, did he subject me to quite a Holy Ghost interrogation on my life , on holiness.....those were quite some phone calls!

I looked on Amazon and here are the 3 remaining copies, the price will kind of amaze you, but these are rare, and then I will show you "The Journals Once Lost, by Levi"...same thing, quite a price tag....I paid nowhere these prices, BECAUSE, when I was aware of Brother Sung, I hit amazon, and just BUY....I don't buy commentaries, or books like that famous pastor wrote, I cant even remember the name, i'm quite fond of missionary autobiographies, or biographies...what happened in REAL LIFE, books on doctrine, or "church history" don't light my soul on fire.

the REASON John Sung is little known is the west is a matter of language, mandarin is an incredibly complex language and its a lot of work to translate for a what the publishing world sees as a "niche audience"

There is a biography of Brother Sung written in the 50's by Lesly Lyall....in wide distribution and inexpensive, and God love brother Lesly, but for me, there was something missing, BUT if your budget only permits a fairly inexpensive book, definitely buy it, and the Holy Spirit will fill in the rest.

I adore brother John Sung, I only pray that God could make me as AFLAME as that dear man is.

I had opened up a thread a few days ago on Visitation or Habitation? Do we pray for a visitation of his spirit? Or do we pray that we be those vessels that the Holy Spirit will inhabit and consequently overflow as rivers of living water to others?

Brother Blaine,

In answer to your question, I believe that God does want to make His Church a habitation that He dwells in. He is present in every believer, but as it was mentioned, there must be an emptying, before we can be filled. We are crucified with Christ, so that He can live His life in us and through us.

"Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?" (1 Corinthians 3:16).

"In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit." (Ephesians 2:22).

I don't believe that it is either a visitation or a habitation that God wants to give us, but it is both.

"Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.” (Psalms 144:5).

"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;" (Acts 3:19).

Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee? (Psalm 85:6).

"O Lord, I have heard the report of you, and your work, O Lord, do I fear. In the midst of the years revive it; in the midst of the years make it known; in wrath remember mercy."

Thank you brother Greg for sharing this documentary with us on the Church in China.

The persecution of the Church in China has only resulted in the furtherance of the gospel. This is something that the Church in America has very little knowledge or experience of, but this is exactly how the Church grew in the book of Acts. The Holy Spirit was poured out, persecution came, and the gospel was spread throughout the world.

"But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;" (Philippians 1:12).
