Mysticism is a gift, a devotion to a sphere of divine life thereby to benefit those who do not have the gift or calling, that the result of what they obtain must be common property to the body of Christ.

The great mystery of the universe is God. The mystic seeks for God, for a conscious and constant fellowship with Him.

The mystic insists that God is known not by understanding, but by the heart. Only love can know God in truth.

The true nature of redemption is inward. "a Christ not in us is the same as a Christ not ours" Death to self, and Christ alive in us is the only salvation.

God is the center of all and is all. He is to be met in everything, so nothing can separate us from Him.

Enlightenment on the scriptures (written word of God) through the guidance of the Holy Spirit is the 'True Mysticism'. When the so called revelation or teaching is contra biblical then it is a false mysticism or a cult whoever the founder, speaker or author maybe.

Romans 10:17 Faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
