Ecc 5:1-7 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil. Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter [any] thing before God: for God [is] in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few. For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool's voice [is known] by multitude of words. When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for [he hath] no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed. Better [is it] that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay. Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it [was] an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands? For in the multitude of dreams and many words [there are] also [divers] vanities: but fear thou God.Just some scriptures... What does everyone think? I would like (Lord willing) to write some about these scriptures when I get more time, but in the mean time...please give your thoughts.

Many people come into the house of God only wanting others to esteem them. They want to go around giving others a 'word from God.' They desire nothing but their own glory. They come in the flesh and think that they are furthering the kingdom of God but they are merely giving the sacrifice of fools and causing much evil. Look how quick we are to just ramble off what ever comes into our imaginations. Do we honestly try the spirits? Do we just speak our mind or the mind of Christ? "A fools voice is known by multitude of words" I think about someone lying or trying to justify themselves. How many times do we try to justify our wrongs with many words whether it be to God or to man? Lord help us all not to give the sacrifice of fools.

So many times we (me!!) speak just our of pure emotion. We even get the "goose bumps" or as Ravenhill called it once "turkey pimples" (LOL). I've noticed that emotion can make us feel spiritual at times. I love teachings on the 3 parts of man. I think its so benifical to have understanding in that area, because its understanding about ourselves! I've also noticed that its much easier to type what I think rather than to say it. In other words, I seem to be much more soulish when I'm sitting at a computer and leaving someone a note than I would be in person. I for some reason just don't judge the words coming out of fingers as I do the ones coming out of my mouth. This is a problem I have had but God has really been changing me in this area. Thats one reason I love that these are forums and not chat rooms. If it were a chat room everyone would be expecting an answer pronto, but here you can be more thoughtful in what you type. And we all put much thought and prayer into what we put on here right? :-o And we always pray "Lord, is there anything I should change?" :-?
