Why wouldnt Satan do all he can to prevent one world currency/government?

Give me ideas why he wants it to happen instead of keeping it from happening so that he can send many more to hell for many many more years?

With Jesus he really thought he won. He didnt discern from the Bible that the crucifixion would need happen.

But Revelation is plain as day, it is Satans end.

We seem to be moving so quickly to the cashless system, why wouldnt he want to monkey wrench that from happening?

It sure seems like he is helping it along to me.

Why would Satan want to reveal Himself through the Antichrist if that eventually is to mean His doom and finish? Why wouldn't He be restraining to keep the AC from coming to his full manifestation if the eventual end of the Antichrist is to bring the end of Satan and his domination over the minds of men and this age?

Assuming our end time understanding is even close to correct, I don't know if that is the issue. It looks like the entire affair of currency allows centralization of power. Centralized power on a global scale has never really happened. Last time it was even a shadowy lookalike the height of it was a string of would be gods in control. It was not that Satan was embraced, but that man became god. It is, after all, our great and controlling desire. Problem is there already is One. We don't care. The prophecies are not mere predictions, but are descriptive of humanity's greatest achievement: anti-Christ and an ultimate enthronement of self. It is inevitable. Satan is not necessarily the engineer. We are. Satan can't stop it.

So the most fun hateful Satan can have is torturing and killing the most Jews and Christians as possible, and without this one world govt he would be unable to achieve the numbers most gratifying. Even if in the end he ends?

I'm not so sure that God is allowing anything to happen. The all knowing God has known all along whats going to happen, since he gave the world a free will, and as someone that can see into the future, he just warned us through his word of the things to come.

Not a head wound as many perceive but yet a wound from which he makes a miraculous recovery, a resurrection of sorts (one prophesied to come would die and be raised), which will dramaticlly change change world opinion toward him (Rev 13:12-14). Accompanied by his recovery if he then begins to displays signs and wonders (II Thess 2:9) the deal will be on as the mystery of iniquity comes to a full manifestation in one individual just as the mystery of godliness came to a full manifestation in Christ. Yet the saints have been warned beforehand and will not be in the darkness of deception - "For false Christs and false Christs will arise and show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. Behold, I Ihave told you in advance" (Matt 24:24-25)

One of the peculiar values of prophecy is that it enables one to see ahead as the future is brought into the present and one can know beforehand and be prepared. At the end of the age saints will be endowed with the power of the Spirit and a prophetic literacy that will have informed and warned them beforehand so as to not be deceived. We are not in darkness that the day should overtake us like a thief. The prophetic word will guide the church as a light shining in a dark place (II Peter 1:19).

Simply that it's been a while since I read them. I forget everything that is going to happen so if I read them I will be better prepared.

Since scripture does not mention one world government or currency or even Antichrist in the context of the head of such a government, I have to get my info from somewhere.

Keep notes if you will since I've never read them.

The scripturtes do portray the AC as coming to have considerable sway over world events and finances to a degree and being backed by a condederation of kings for a short time. Plus he will eventually turn his wrath on the Jewish people and those who hold to the testimony of Jesus.

I'm thinking it's not out of of line for us to pray to be left behind because I'm assuming we would be praying a safe prayer since the church is to be here for the duration, forewarned and foreprepared by prophecy instead of blindly groping along not knowing anything or having any clue as to the times and circumstances.

The books are actually quite fascinating. I didn't really read them- I listened to the audiobooks years ago.

At best we should call him Beast if we are inclined to a futurist interpretation.
