Greetings in Jesus!Having now listened to this message this most excellent brother Art Katz gave, I have come to want to add something to the things he said.When the Devil is unable to blind Christians to the prophetic purposes of God concerning Israel and the Jews, his next deception is to divert Christians into errors of Christian Zionism.I would preface matters by pointing out that there are valid evangelical organizations such as "Christian Friends of Israel" which is based in Jerusalem that are both Christian and pro-Zionist. They are moderates, Christo-centric as opposed to Israel-centric, and therefore biblically balanced in their approach. They stand for Israel's right to exist, warn of dangers of Islam to Judeo/Christian civilization, amd work to point the Christian church back towards its Hebrew root. They do not, however, turn their backs on the local Israeli Body of Christ in order to placate the Rabbis and cultivate good relations with Israeli politicians. While these organizations are not evangelistic, they do stand with Israeli Messianic believers in their quest to evangelize Israel, and the people in these organizations will often share their faith on a personal low key basis.On the other hand, there are Christian organizations such as "Bridges for Peace" that have signed papers and have entered into an agreement in Israel to withhold the gospel to the Jewish people, and worst still some such organizations will even go so far as to even teach against presenting it.At this time in Israel there are many Christian organizations that have done just that!Some organizations have repeatedly entered into agreements with Israeli govenment and various other Jewish authorities which require that they agree not to present the gospel to Jewish people, but rather to concentrate on loving Jewish people with some love other than the love of Christ.A love for Jews which fails to give the Jews the Gospel, is not the love of Christ, but a fleshly infatuation.The Jewish people are perishing without their Messiah. Nazis sent Jews to gas chambers, but Christian Zionists, by withholding the gospel from the Jews, are in effect sending them to hell.It is not my purpose to judge or condemn individuals, only to condemn the false doctrines of any organization which is in rebellion against the Word of God --- leading others into that rebellion.Finally, I want to say that while it is a dangerous mistake not to affirm the prophetic purposes of God for the nation of Israel, it is vital to realize that one purpose of the Great Tribulation from which the only rescue is acceptance of Jesus as the Messiah. The Jews are back in Israel for a coming hour which will be by far the darkest in their history.Their only hope is faith in Jesus, and the only hope that Chrisitians can give them is Jesus.Those who argue with this argue with Christ!These were His last words to the Church before He left earth. Those who willfully reject His last words and lead others into rebellion will be called to give account.Asking Christians to love the Jews with a love that does not give them the only gospel that can save them from hell, is not a love from God but deception from hell.I cannot emphasise this sufficiently; each time a Christian supports an an organization which claims to have a ministry to the Jews but which does not include the gospel, they help pave the same road to hell upon which millions of Jews have already entered eternity.The last thing Jesus said was basically this: "Let God worry about the rebirth of Israel; you worry about the 'new birth' of Jewish souls." (see Acts 1:6-8)God is going to bless the Church through Jewish people before Jesus returns. That I see in Scripture. He will continue to save Jews and He is going to achieve His prophetic purposes for the salvation of Israel, as detailed in His Word: not by use of Dual Covenant Theology, Christian Zionism or any other man-made endeavour.You can be part of God's plan by bringing the good news of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah back home again to the Jewish people through whom God first gave it; by praying for the salvation of Israel and by supporting genunine Jewish missions and evangelism.As God had promised, He will bless those that bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel (see Genesis 12:3; 27:29).The appointed way to bless Israel is with the gospel, and the way to curse Israel is by withholding it and by supporting those who withhold it. So the choice is yours!The worst form of anti-Semitism a born again Christian can enage in is to refrain from giving the Jewish people the good news of their Messiah who died for their sin, and whose atonement is the only way that will keep them and their children from hell.If you are involved in this kind of Christian Zionisn, and support an organization which not only resolutely refuses to evangelize Jews but diverts support away from those who do, or which tries to bless Israel without giving Israel Jesus, then THE DEVIL IS TAKING YOU FOR A RIDE.In Christ,Jake
