Google ads / sites blocked...

The google ads are the ads that appear on the lower left hand side of every page of SermonIndex.net. Some of the ads are questionable in nature and have been blocked but there are constantly more and more ads being added to the cycle so if you see an ad that you think should be blocked just simply email me the url at sermonindex@mac.com or post a reply in this forum.I just blocked: www.ldsaudio.com which is an laterday saints site which a few people have emailed me over.

Aha...now I get it. I noticed some questionable links as well. One of them was a site that completely condemns the "Trinity", but I don't recall the site.But anyhow, now I know it's not you putting up the links there. Great! I'll let you know when I come across questionable links.

He Gregi was wondering, can you remove it from the source code? it's a javascriptscript type="text/javascript" src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"because i am looking in the source code of sermonindex.net.i don't know if you tried it, otherwise i'm just send you an email, and also when i find something interresting about how you can remove it (if possible)

Just for the record...It appears that the ad's are generated from the content of what is being discussed. Have noticed that say for instance in discussing 'prophecy' a lot of 'related' links will begin to show up. In effect it seems to be a 'content' search, we are being 'Googled' :-? Surely there is a better technical way of explaining it, but just to say that these things are not necessarily endorsed by SI to their content wouldn't be a reach, I don't think...

Williami was wondering, can you remove it from the source code? it's a javascriptBrother these ads are put there by my choice. They are raising support for this ministry to be able to pay for the bandwith of the sermons and the hosting and other costs. Everytime an ad is clicked there is a small amount of money that is given to SermonIndex. I would rather have not sponsors or ads and just have the word of God and sermons but due to a lack of support from SI users this is kinda necessary. If every person that used this site gave an donation of small amount or become a sponsor for $5 USD a month this ministry would be able to cover all the costs necessary and take down the ads. I have a peace about having them up for right now and yes if there is an questionable ad do let me know the url and I will block it. Thanks for asking brother.

Everytime an ad is clicked there is a small amount of money that is given to SermonIndex. So would it help SI if we checked a few links a day?
