Are you marked?

There's been allot of talk lately bout the mark of the beast and that got me to thinking....

Are we marked by Gods love?

Jesus forewarned us that in the last days, because sin will abound, the love of many would grow cold...

1 John 4:
7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Could this be the "mark of God" on His people?
Scriptures teach we will be known by our love...

Could this be that which stands in contrast to the "mark of the beast"? Whose children are by nature children of wrath...

Perhaps we should spend more time making certain of our election by focusing on being marked by Gods love rather than fighting amongst ourselves over orther marks...

And hope does not disappoint because the LOVE OF GOD has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit given to us.

Amen! Let us be concerned about having the mark of God in our foreheads (mind of Christ). Let us be concerned with being part of the 144,000, which is symbolic of OT and NT saints (12x12 and thousands being emblematic of many, many OT and NT saints, (without number).

If you have the mark of God you will never have the mark of the beast. You can't have both.

Revelation 14:1

And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

All Believers have the Father's name written in their foreheads. This should be our only concern.

Everyone who names the name of Christ should read ALL of 1st John weekly! Or listen to it on the way to work. I would rather err on the side of love and mercy than err on the side of judgment and condemnation. (*edit) YES!! It is a mark of God or better yet, one of the keys to His kingdom!(/edit)

Luke 6:35 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.

1 John 2:5-6
but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may be sure that we are in him: whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.

1 John 3:10-11
BY THIS IT IS EVIDENT WHO ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother. For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, THAT WE SHOULD LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
