God is calling us to come before the throne of grace through the blood of Jesus. He is calling us to return to our first love, intimacy in the presence of the Lord.
I believe that we have got the cart before the horse. We have put ministry above seeking the Lord, to know Him, and to wait in His presence until we get clear guidance and direction from Him. All ministry should be a product of our fellowship with the Lord.
There is nothing that will transform us like seeking the face of the Lord, and experiencing His glory and presence both individually and corporately.
The men of God that were used greatly throughout history saw the glory of the Lord. They were transformed by that glory, and every time that we come into the presence of the Lord through spending time with Him, not just to gain a mental knowledge, but a experimental, intimate knowledge, there is something that happens to us. Our minds are being renewed, and we are being transformed from glory to glory, even by the Spirit of the Lord.
