as some of my brothers and sisters know, when I was a mere lad of 17, in the US Navy, I was trained for 9 months in the Korean language, 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, and almost 40(!) year later, Praise God!, I STILL can read and write...AND speak in Korean (with accent)....however since the language training was military, I CANNOT speak or understand everyday civilian Korean.
13 years ago, a Godly Korean pastor prophesied to me, forthtelling....and due to my fleshly failings.......I'll let the rest of that just peter out into "dots".........because that's between the LORD and me.
Here's my question to the Body of Christ at SI: does any saint KNOW of a course of instruction in Korean, that is the finest, that I may spend ...say ...8 months refurbishing my Korean language skills into absolute fluency?
I know their is Berlitz, or Rosetta Stone, etc.....and some may say "just go", but wisdom and the Holy Spirit, lead me to know I need to do that refurbishment HERE, before I am called.
I will never "despise" opinions, but i'm looking for those dear saints who have experience learning another language VIA a course of study, OR those saints who have been to Korea....I spent three years there as a teen age US Navy linguist, but OBVIOUSLY my onus was not on Jesus.
