This is a very deep book however if you are more predisposed to the spoken word there are several recordings available. Here are the links to a 12 part version, each about an hour long. I have been greatly blessed listening to them again and felt I should share them with those the Lord will draw.

The church is built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets (Eph. 2:20), and Art seeks to identify the distinctive genius and character of this holy foundation.

This book cannot be read casually. I've done an awful lot of reading in my day but this one required my full attention. There is not a shallow word in it, and it is well worth the effort to read it.

I listen to a lot of audiobooks as well and I can't conceive of listening to this; of course I suppose you could rewind a lot.
