When I lived in Canterbury I lived in martyrs fields on the memorial where 41 martyrs died is the phrase "lest we forget"
As Christians we tend to forget the blood of Christians who have been shed so we can have Christian freedom which we are losing in this country , will we forget the people that are dying now for there Christian faith.
At the moment Christians seem to have forgotten so many things ask the martyrs or William tyndale about the ecumenical movement or joining with the Catholic Church they died so we could have the bible in English and free from the Catholic Church as it put them to death .

When as Christians we will consider are culture a relic of archaeology as we will be with Jesus
Lest we forget also considers the fact that God has done many revivals through history , have we not got the same bible as john Wesley , is it not the same God
What would the church look like today maybe a hundred years from now , a church plagued in synchronism like Israel mixing with the world , what would writers a thousand years from now say about the apostasy in the church , compared to the revivals that have happened in the previous centuries
