\tChristians need to vote!
Dear Friend,
There’s one question I’ve heard at almost every stop on the Decision America Tour. Because of the current state of our country, people of all ages are asking, "What can I do?”
My answer is always the same: VOTE! I encouraged the crowds who joined us at the most recent prayer rallies in Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania””and at every stop on the tour””to make sure they go to the polls.
We’re getting very close to Election Day, and it’s no secret that millions of Christians didn’t bother to vote in the last presidential election. There’s another large group of people who stayed away from the voting booth in 2012; according to Pew Research, almost 60 percent of young people (ages 18 to 24) didn’t vote.
Do you know any Christians who are planning to stay home this November? I hope you will encourage them to go out and cast their ballots””and not miss this opportunity to help make a difference for the future of our country. Challenge them to stand up and let their voices be heard.
