I teach at a (very) small Christian school. I just started working there in August of this year, so I am still learning a lot.
I had a rough day in my class yesterday; the kids were talking the entire day and I just could not gain control of my class. This morning I prayed at the beginning of the day for there to peace and quiet in the class, and the prayer was answered.
Mid-way through the morning, we had chapel service, and it was an awesome start to the service. Right after the lady who was leading worship told them to think of their most valuable things and then surrender them to Christ, the enemy started working. First, one of the girls got these excruciatingly painful cramps. She was in the bathroom and four of the girls were with her, but I went in there to try to help. This is not something new with her, but the moment it manifested caused great distraction. We had to carry her out of the bathroom and she had to be taken home.
I went back to my seat, and then the principal came to get me. A girl in my class was in the bathroom crying. This girl suffers from depression and I have suspected demonic activity in her life based on other conversations we have had. She was crying and saying she was having a mental breakdown. When I hugged her she collapsed on the floor and she said she was hearing voices (the voices are something she has talked about to me before). I laid my hands on her head and started rebuking the spirits and she started screaming and thrashing her hands. This would not stop. The principal and I were both praying for her and rebuking the enemy and she was screaming the entire time. All the while the kids' chapel service was still going on. I found out later that the screaming could be heard in chapel, and the lady leading the service just ended the service and sent everyone back to class. Several other people came in to pray for her. We anointed her with oil. One of the ladies asked her to call out to Jesus but she could not say His name. It was a strong battle. She said the voices were telling her to kill herself and to die. Eventually, she did calm down and became "herself" again. I would not say that she is delivered. I also do not think she is saved, though the pastoral staff assured her that she is because she says she got "saved" at a retreat in August. She will be receiving counseling from the pastoral staff, so I pray that the Lord will use that to deliver her and save her.
Those in leadership who have been here longer than I think there is a possibility that the first girl's cramping issue may be a spiritual issue, based on the timing of this and prior episodes of cramping.
We have a lot of other issues going on at the school, though not of this nature.
I would appreciate prayer for these children. I also ask for prayer for me and the staff that we would have wisdom and the power of God.
Also, I ask for God's protection for me and my family, because now that I attacked the enemy, and I seem to be at the forefront of this particular battle because this girl is in my class, my children and I may now be a target of the enemy's attack. I pray the Lord's protection on us, through His power, His grace, and His mercy.
