Who, Where or What is Gog and Magog?

Ezekiel 38:2-3, "Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal."

Ezekiel's War is an invasion of Israel in the last days which is led by a great northern power in confederecy with several other nations and many other peoples. As we read Ezekiel 38 and 39 it becomes evident that Gog is to be a great leader and Magog is a land or region. But who is this leader and where is this land? Many have traditionally considered that these verses speak of Russia to the far north of Israel. More recently however there has been a strong swing away from this idea in order to teach Gog and Magog within the Middle Eastern region south of Russia in order to identify that this united military force will be entirely fulfilled by a Muslim union of nations.

Everyone has their opinion. North of Jerusalem on the globe takes you to the capital of Turkey. Gog seems to be the leader of Magog. Magog has a group of nations as they are all dressed in many uniforms. Army, Horses, horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company.... (Perhaps NATO ?)

Ezek 38:5 Persia, Etiopia and Libya,
Ezek 38:6 Gomer, Togarmah
Ezek 38:8 in the latter years
Ezek 38:11 decides to go against:
unwalled villages, a peaceful people
dwelling safely, no bars, no gates
(Certainly not today)

Ezek 38:14 the word comes to Gog, "Are you crazy?"
These are the people of God.
Don't you know who these are? These are immortal

Ezek 38:15 Gog will come with a great company, many peoples

Doesn't sound like Russia by itself.

Hi Roger, I address your mention of Turkey in the article which is linked. Like to hear your thoughts. At least three of the countries represented could be Turkey. Surely Magog has to be something different?

Also it says not only "north" but "north quarters" or "north parts." The Hebrew word used here for "quarters" or "parts" can mean the uttermost part, the far north, the furtherest coast.

This simple phrase is used three times concerning this invasion force.

The New World Order is always in the news. We must realize that Satan has deceived the whole world, except the elect. The UN has published it's lofty millenial goals for each year but they also plan on a one world religion. And their vaccination, the air and water prorgams may not be what they seem. After all they are also for population reduction too.

You could say that the NWO is an attempt by Satan to create his Kingdom in place of God's kingdom. His religion instead of God's. The NWO already has 10 regions mapped out for the new order. The fighting we see around the world is over territory. Europe wants a little more, so take from Russia. Ergodan was probably promised Europe and a revived Ottoman empire. But someone complained and now he is in the Mideast region. So he floods Europe with immigrants. Payback.

Russia has risen up in opposition to the NWO so we have NATO surrounding it with endless weapons and tanks. 60 container loads of ammo unloaded in Europe this week. Tanks and other equipment keep moving into Poland and other areas.

I'm afraid we're fixing to see a mass "slaughter" all over the world. Those people pushing for this have problems.
Revelation speaks of 1/3 of the earth perishing, then 1/4 of what's left and I believe I read where only a tithe of the earth population is left. Satan has deceived all who seek power and earthly kingdoms.

Gog, the leader of Magog is no different. They possibly are the remnants of all these wars. After all, The spirit of Esau is still around. He wants that promise that was given to Jacob. So he creates his kingdom, the NWO, his religion, The newly created faithless religon soon to appear, and eventually the Antichrist will make his way to Jerusalem to sit in the temple that he has built, just for him. He achieved what he wanted by using the Palestinians, Arabs, and everyone else as patsies.

After all, he has been taught forever that he is truly the one that is "in place of Christ", the Vicar. He doesn't beleive he is deceived. Neither do all the 10 kings at the end.

How Satan has deceived the whole world! Even the AntiChrist.
