Greetings and happy new years in Christ!
As many are taking the new years to do something new, a new comittment or change, I have also been doing so in different areas of life. One consideration of change is the featured sermon on SermonIndex. We have been featuring messages every week, 2 weeks or monthly and there was no set schedule. At one-point I was doing it bi-weekly for a set time.
As part of a new years change I am going to try and do a monthly feature of a sermon, so 12 a year. What will be different and make it more exciting and helpful to saints, is that the featured sermon will be shared on many platforms as well as text transcribed and various other ways to share the message. I am still exploring how to do this best and perhaps "you" from the community can help share some ways we can see a message impact many, explore the message better ourselves and see more community interaction also.
Also how this will work better is for more volunteer and community help in each featured sermon, so there are opportunities here to help be a part of the Lord's work in sharing these powerful messages with others!

Other avenues throughout the month:
- image quotes will be shared on social media of the speaker from the featured message
- Quotes and Excerpts will be shared to the SermonIndex.net forums to cater thought and discussion on the message.
Opportunities for brothers and sisters to help:
- Text Transcription of the message, if someone feels led to serve in this way we could help post and share this transcription.
- Language Translations, once the message is transcribed some brothers and sisters could help translate the sermon into different languages.
- Bloggers, if you have a personal blog consider to make a special post each month to share the feature sermon in your own words and way!
- Social Media, during the month share the featured sermon with an image, video or text link on facebook, twitter, etc.
- Internet Radio, if you run an internet radio the message could be featured once a month at a certain time. We are also looking into Radio spots once a month that would be 30 mins and how much this could cost, it could be interesting to prayerfully explore a few areas as led by the Spirit. Or you could go ahead and in your local area take charge and get the message on radio.
I am sure there are many other areas and ways creatively the message can be shared, feel free to post and share any ideas you have brothers and sisters.
