Dear saints I have recently taken two other people into my home for a time. I believe I was led by the Lord to do this. Presently we are living off of my income which consist of Social Security disability and a modest state retirement.
In times past I have supplemented my Social Security and retirement by doing work as an on-site meeting coordinator. But because of the changing economy and technology. This work is now drying up. Also the fact that I am 65 and legally blind makes part-time work even harder to find.
Yet as head of my householf I feel the responsibility to find some type of part time or even seasonal employment. Would you please keep me in your prayers that God would be gracious and provide me some type of employment. At this point I'm willing to accept any type of employment be at part-time, full time, seasonal, temp, or perm. I am just in need of employment to supplement my disability to provide not only for myself but for the two other people that I'm giving refuge too.
I have been asking the Lord to provide work. Will check on staffing agencies here to see what they might provide. But right now soliciting the prayers of my brothers and sisters for God to be gracious and increase my work.
