What Kind of Preacher Are You Looking For?

Concerning the preaching & ministry of John the Baptist, Jesus posed three questions to the Jews:
- Did u hope to see a reed shaken by the wind? Mt 11:7
- Did u hope to see someone dressed in expensive apparel?
Mt 11:8
- Did u hope to see a prophet sent from God? Mt 11:9-10

In other words...Do you want a minister that bends & bows to every wind and pressure of compromise? Do you want a minister who's caught up in looking fancy? Or...do you want a prophet sent from God who will tell you the truth, even if it's uncomfortable?

These questions are worthy of an answer by our own generation. What kind of preacher are you looking for?

I ask for the true prophet, uncomfortable or not.
In the end, it means the salvation of souls and the glory of God
