Just wanted to share that Times Square Church has called for 3 days of prayer and fasting this coming week, Jan. 17, 18, & 19. There will be a prayer service each of those 3 nights beginning at 7pm EST for anyone who is interested.

Thank you sister for bringing this to our attention:

Fast for the Future of Our Nation

January 17, 18 & 19

"If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and I will forgive their sins and I will heal the land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to prayer that is made in this place” (7 Chronicles 7:14-15).

This coming January 17, 18 and 19, we will be fasting and praying for the future of our Nation. A window of mercy has opened to us and we are believing that in prevailing prayer we will live to see a wonderful turning of many people to a new or restored relationship with Jesus Christ.

The future of our nation is not in the hands of a few politicians. It is not in the hands of the Supreme Court. The future of our nation is in the hands of the church of Jesus Christ. We have the power that God has given us to turn his nation back to God.

Anyone can join online with us each of the three nights when we gather here to pray from 7 to 9PM. Let’s not miss this moment. Put it on your calendar and prayerfully prepare for it.

Does anyone else on here attend the Tuesday prayer meeting online at Times Square Church? What an incredible meeting! The power of God is manifest whenever I watch. I actually went to New York November 2015 specifically to go to Times Square Church.

Nigel, I am in the prayer service on Tuesdays. Very powerful prayer going up, for which I am grateful, as I live in a very dead and compromised area.

For anyone interested in the prayer and fasting, Carter Conlon's sermon this morning at Times Square Church was good preparation. It is called " 'Yes Lord' is a Prayer"

Thanks for sharing that sermon, really an important message for the church.

To all here, please listen to that sermon titled " 'Yes Lord' is a Prayer" and join TSC online the next few nights even if you can't fast.

In Christ,

Amen, some prevailing prayer going on! Notes from tonight's message;

Day1 - God commands a blessing on those who are unified in prayer for the glory of God.

Rediscovering our Identity - Deuteronomy 6:10-12 - it is easy to forget your purpose and identity as the church of Jesus Christ. When we lose our focus we start to believe a lie.

1Peter 2:9 - a chosen generation for a specific purpose, His own special people. We have exceeding precious promises in Christ, His intention is that we should be changed by these promises.

Mark 11:22-23 - have faith in God, we have power when we pray, what an amazing promise! For too long we have forgotten these promises and forgotten our power to show forth His praises, a living testimony.

Hopelessness abounds in our society, we are God's answer. We must rediscover our identity and turn from our self-focused religion. We've been given a season mercy, we must not waste this opportunity. There is power to break through in prayer and get back to the work of God.

Tomorrow night's focus is on youth, and Thursday night's focus before the inauguration is on God to move in and through government and leaders.

Day 2 service has started... http://www.tscnyc.org/webcasts/fast-for-the-future-of-our-nation-day-2/

Day 2 notes;

Day2 - The Devil seeks to destroy our youth, he seeks to remove the landmarks of God's word. He seeks to destroy the remnant of believers.

Exodus 3:7 - God sees the oppression and affliction. God sees the children being murdered in the womb. God sees the youth in our schools being robbed of their identity.

Let our cry come to Him and He will take us out of weakness and into strength. We must stand believing, not allowing this weakness and failure any longer, we cannot let this generation be destroyed.

We have a right to stand before the throne, we have power to pull down strongholds.

Am thanking God for this link and connection to the His Body.
Though "alone" in my situation these meetings have united me in Spirit and Truth with brothers and sisters in prayer and worship at this crucial time in our history.

As with others here I urge you to watch and pray whether it is live or recorded. The Lord is awakening His people once again and pouring out His Spirit once again upon this dry and thirsty land. Thank you Father.

I was especially impressed upon today concerning Teresa Conlon's brief message last night about David's response to Goliath's taunts. She mentioned how David showed his unity with his brothers when he said, "I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied." He was including himself with them, he did not despise the fearful and doubting army of Israel, but became their champion that day and they rose up and chased their enemies out of their borders, a great victory!

I am tempted to look down on a weak and fearful brother at times but let us not despise the fearful and doubting members of the Church any more. In prayer, fasting, and spiritual strength we can make a difference. Let the Lord's army rise again!

Day 3 notes, let the Church arise!

Day3 - 1Corinthians 1:10-11 - divisions concerning leadership in the church. We must have the mind of Christ to see above the contentions of this world and have a heavenly perspective.

1Timothy 2:1-3 - prayers, supplications, intercessions, thanksgiving for all men, for those that are in authority. Peace in our hearts even in the midst of troubles, a life that understands that God is in control of all things. Thank Him for giving us exactly what we need, the heavens do rule even when things seem otherwise.

We must believe that He is working in these days no matter who is in leadership. We must agree with God who desires all men to be saved.

It is not coincidental brethren that the prayer meeting, intercession, supplications, and exhortation that was given at Times Square Church on Thursday night before the inauguration on Friday was truly evident in the inauguration itself.

You can still watch this prayer meeting here:
http://www.tscnyc.org/webcasts/fast-for-the-future-of-our-nation-day-3/

If you watch this and look at what was said, confessed, prayed, and displayed at the inauguration event you will see that not only these prayers but all prayers are not falling on deaf ears.

Carters every word, and I mean every word, were the very words in my heart and spirit. Can anyone listen to this and deny that the Spirit of the Lord is not present or orchestrating every thought and prayer? No way! They came to pass the very next day! What was prayed Thursday was confessed the very next day!

These two events (prayer meeting and the inauguration the next day)are intertwined and do bear witness of one another.

If you are shut in and unable or unwilling to attend a local body of believers I would encourage you to listen to this prayer meeting. I am confident that you will be blessed and encouraged. This is AWESOME! PTL!
