docs Jan 23, 2017

I Timothy 1:5
But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.

Romans 12:5
...so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.

Colossians 2:19
...holding fast to the head, from whom the entire body, being supplied and held together by the joints and ligaments, grows with a growth which is from God.

Philippians 2:3
Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves

I Peter 1:8-9
...and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, yougreatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory 9 obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.

After a annual business meeting and review of the year at our church yesterday, which all churches have to do it seems, but what turned out to be fun in many ways, our pastor passed out these scriptures and spoke on them a bit and encouraged the church to try and keep them in mind and follow them during the coming year. The vision of his heart and the blessedness contained within the scriptures themselves blessed me and I just wanted to pass them along.

May we follow the Lord as never before during this coming year.

Blessings to you and may the Lord guide and direct you into comprehending His love for you as never before.
