Current event prayer concern

While in prayer out of the blue I understood the events that would transpire in Minnesota and started praying for that state. I understood that they would be the first state in America to have a dirty bomb go off, so I think to myself that this may just be fear mongering, even though I told no one I dismissed it as a vain imagining. The intercession came back to me again a few weeks ago and was so persistent that this last week end I asked The Lord for some confirmation. Than yesterday the Governor of Minnesota fainted while giving an address to His states house and the Word of The Lord came to me saying . "see here men's hearts will faint at seeing the things that are coming upon the earth", and that same intercession for Minnesota came back again. I believe it is the will of God to save life and stop this thing. I'm asking others to pray that The Lord will help The US uncover the domestic plots before they happen and save life through Jesus during this time. This goes out for anyone who would be lead to pray for Minnesota as well as this Nation.

Praying brother. I "happened" to hear of your Governor and watched as he fainted online. Praying for Christians in your state to pray boldly for the things of God to prevail in your state.

I would also ask prayer for two of our statesmen in Utah who are embroiled in ugly attacks. Jason Chavetz and Mike Lee.

I am committed to praying for our leadership and those whom God has placed in authority. Regardless of whether they are "worthy" to be prayed for or not.

I do find much rest in the Sovereignty of God and realize that no man can receive nothing accept it be given from heaven, this includes blessings as well as judgement.

I do wish that people would not misinterpret those of us who choose to pray for the country and leaders, as we are instructed in scripture, that we are somehow putting our hope and trust in man, politics, or America. It is sad that we have to always qualify our motives with caveats and explanations for simply doing what the bible says.

Thank you both for sharing your prayer requests, I'm right along side you both and will continue to pray and work while it is still day.

Dear Lord,
We thank you for the season of reprieve that has been granted this nation by Your hand.
May Your mercy prevail over the judgement we so richly deserve as a nation.
You are slow to anger and abundant in mercy.
Please, Lord, if it be possible, cause that mercy to be abundant towards the US in these days.
It is written, unless You build the house, the builders work in vain. Unless You watch over the city, the watchmen lay awake in vain.
Please Lord, open the eyes of our watchmen, the law enforcement agents, to uncover plots against this nation, particularly in Minnesota. Expose that which is hidden from ordinary human eyes, ears and hearts. You, by the prophet Elisha, revealed enemy plans to the king of Israel.
You are still able to do the same for our intelligence and law enforcement agents, Lord.
Reveal enemy plans to them, Lord and discomfit the enemy as only You can.
Have mercy on our nation, O Lord, according to the multitude of Your lovingkindness.
May the Name of Jesus be magnified for it is in His mighty Name that we ask these things. Amen.
