Your thinking on this quote.

"God allows others to take advantage of us in order to carry out His secret will for us." R T Kendall

I picked up this quote from a friend,I've never heard of R.T. Kendall, I just wanted to see what your thoughts were on this. I know it's not scripture, but would God's will for us, really allow others to take advantage of us? I know I have personally been taken advantage of probably hundreds of times in my life, especially because of the business i'm in, this would give me a different prospective, if I knew God was really allowing this.

Job 1:8-12

The LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil.” Then Satan answered the LORD, "Does Job fear God for nothing? "Have You not made a hedge about him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. "But put forth Your hand now and touch all that he has; he will surely curse You to Your face.”

Then the LORD said to Satan, "Behold, all that he has is in your power, only do not put forth your hand on him.” So Satan departed from the presence of the LORD.

1 Peter 4:19. There are times that we endure persecution according to the will of God. His ultimate goal is that we would grow to be more like Him and grow in our faith.
