In our house that I am living my housemate has been beating his girlfriend severly and I do not know what to do and I have been going through a terrible time are pastor is ill, I cant seem to obey god and I want to!!! I got stopped by the police for coming out of the computer lab!! My ebay account got suspended for no reason, I then have to deal with the situation at home with my family.I know that forgiveness!!I have been praying for this situation every single time it happens considering he is on marinua and gets really violent, I am only recently getting over the incident with steve can you pray that god wil save them both and save me from my sins and give me courage!! I have also been friterned of the police and want to know that god loves me and cares for me and to obey him!! I want to be like david I know that if i dont forgive everyone I wilol turn into them!!!Can we pray for every girl or guy that is suffering abuse and that the cross will be there to give them the ability to forgive no matter what!! I need freedom in christ!!

God will work on this young man, once he's behind bars.man, once he's behind bars.I have been in this position with neighbors deltadom and they were folk that were also on drugs. The horrible sounds of a screaming woman were more than I could take. I will call the police in a second and without hesitation. God has set in order the Police department to keep order in society and they bear not the sword in vain. It may mean having the door on the house kicked in- but if the woman is spared and the man is made to know that this cannot be tolerated it is the right thing to do. If the man is on drugs he is OUT OF CONTROL. He is capable of anything! I add my agreement with the others. Call the Police as soon as it happens and don't fear what he/she may say or do. Will also pray for you in this.God Bless,-Robert

Deltadom,There have been changes in the law and in practices over the last few years. Support for victims of domestic violence, whether male or female, has improved in several ways. If you feel you will be in danger yourself, through calling the police, then think about how you could make the call without also being trapped in the house with this friend when he's dangerous. Also, think about your options for getting advice before you have to make the call. There is likely to be a local helpline available through your local Council or GP's surgery. You could give this to the girlfriend and encourage her to get support soon. Some projects have an accountability strand, so they work with the violent partner too, not just the victim.Lastly, while your pastor is ill, it would not be a waste of time for either you, or the people philologos knows in your area, to get to know each other informally. No need to be shy :-)I will be praying for you to get all this sorted out. It's a big situation which is hard to deal with under any circumstances. May the Lord give you wisdom and courage.
