Christians in Concentration Camps in America?

"Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come (Matthew 24:9-14 NIV).

Read what David Ravenhill said:

"How many of you know that we need revival? Unless we have revival in this nation we won’t have a nation. My father [Leonard Ravenhill] said, way back in the 80’s, ‘That if America does not concentrate in prayer that it will pray in concentration camps.’ And I used to laugh not outwardly, because I respected my father, but inwardly I would think, This is America! The land of the free, the home of the brave. We have a constitution. We have a bill of rights, so on and so forth. But I have learned that those things are fastly disappearing. And the Church is being turned against. We are the ones, who are the problem if you like. We are the one’s who speak out against homosexuality and all the other things we know are wrong morally. Yet we are the one’s that are mocked and laughed at and so on. We will be, I believe in a number of years, driven underground. It would not surprise me that in my lifetime we will have an underground Church in North America because of the persecution. And the only answer is revival. The Spirit of God coming and sweeping through this land.”

Does he mean that revival is the only thing that could prevent the church being forced underground?

I agree.

The Hate that I am seeing is increasing rapidly.

Anyone that is deemed a Bigot is seen as undeserving of compassion and rights.

And it does not take hardly anything to be deemed a Bigot, all Bible Believers are being deemed bigots

David Ravenhill writes........

Answer to what? Is their a revival coming that is going to stop us being gathered up, persecuted, drummed into concentration camps? Is this pagan land that is growing in hatred every day of genuine Christianity ( Christianity that is not compromised) going to be "saved?" Is the desire to see revival a mere vehicle to avert a coming persecution? Are we praying for revival so that we can be saved from some impeding disaster? There is one singular reason for sharing Jesus, its our love for the truth(Him) and the fire that burns in our bones. Secondly it is our love for the lost. What does or does not happen to us as a result of our faith is neither here nor there. Persecution is coming and a revival will only intensify that. I do believe that there is a great outpouring coming, in the midst and because of the persecution and the revival and the persecution will fuel each other..............bro Frank

Yeah it reminds me of Wilkerson's vision where we aren't given the dignity to suffer as Christians but will be labeled as bigots,racists,intolerant, undermining the social order etc... so that the persecution can be justified.
It's as if a division bell has sounded and people have taken their places accordingly. The currents of each side will inevitably become stronger and more difficult to resist even if they seem calm on the surface. It would seem that only those whom hear and follow His voice will able to resist the pull of these streams.
As crazy as this sounds I still can't help but see it as an opportunity to share the gospel/hold out the words of life as there are so many who are seeking answers more sincerely.

Wouldn't it be a marvelous thing if the whole church (world wide) spoke with the same prophetic voice... truly as the oracle of God? Truly functioning as His body with Christ as it's head, each member receiving directly from the head that which we shall do. Honestly i believe it can happen and perhaps that would be the witness that was discussed on the other thread...?

But the place where the church is growing the fastest is in those nations that are experiencing persecution. Look at China and Iran. These two nations are anything but friendly to the gospel. Yet Operation World describes these two nations as having the fastest growing churches in the world. If you will these two nations are experiencing what we would call revival. That against the backdrop of persecution.

Again simply my thoughts.

I appreciate this admonition from Brother David Ravenhill. For some reason, it made me think of Winston Churchill's famous "We shall fight on the beaches" speech:

Even though large tracts of Europe and many old and famous States have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Gestapo and all the odious apparatus of Nazi rule, we shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end.
We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender;
And if, which I do not for a moment believe, this island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.

However, instead of "fighting" in a carnal sense, I thought about how we should seek God through prayer and worship.

If we are betrayed by others,
we should rejoice and seek God through prayer and worship.
If we are persecuted,
we should rejoice and seek God through prayer and worship.
If we are abused,
we should rejoice and seek God through prayer and worship.
If we are imprisoned,
we should rejoice and seek God through prayer and worship.
If we are put into concentration camps,
we should rejoice and seek God through prayer and worship.
If we face great tribulation or wrath,
we should rejoice and seek God through prayer and worship.
If we are tortured and led to a place of execution,
we should rejoice and seek God through prayer and worship.
Nothing -- not even the prospect of death itself -- should cause us to lose the joy that comes from knowing fellowship with Christ Jesus.
