Just had a thought to see how multicultural SI is. What are the nationalities represented? Myself I am Canadian citizen born in Lithuania, father is Lithuanian and mother is Russian. Feel free to post your ethnic background.
I'm Canadian, from Vancouver Island. My mom was born in Chicago, and my dad was from White Rock, British Columbia. On my mom's side English and Scottish, and on my dad's side English and Spanish.

My mothers parents passed through Ellis Island in NYC.
Not sure of my dads parents but know they were Italian..

My mothers side in Scotland can trace their roots back almost 1000 years and was originally Scandinavian, Vikings, my dad's family came to Scotland in the late 1800s from Donegal in Ireland..............bro Frank

I am a native Filipina (Philippines) and now living in Finland :)
German/Dutch on my mom's side, we always thought British on my dad's but I found a DNA project on the internet of my last name which strongly suggests it is is Swiss origin.
However both sides have been in US for many generations; my moms side in northern Indiana and my dads in the Roanoke Virginia area. I know I had relatives on dads side that fought for the south in the Civil War and actually ended up deserting to the north due to the fact they were starving to death. I remember my great aunts and uncles who were very godly people never having anything good to say about "yankees."
Dad's side is English and German with farther back ancestry of Austria and Switzerland in the mix.
Kevin Costner is my sixth cousin, three times removed. So, you know, I'm probably in the will. :)
Mom's side is outlaw mix and Cherokee. :)

One set of great grandparents were British Canadian from Saskatoon and immigrated during WW2. The others were mixed German and English but U.S. citizens from way back. But ultimately I am a citizen of the Kingdom of God and a brother from another mother. :-)
