Was blessed last night

Got to share an inspiring incident that happened last night.

We attended a cell group meeting and afterwards we were served some refreshments. I got my food and sat down at a table to eat it. Soon I was joined by five boys ages 10-14. The host came by and told me I should share a "Sunday School story".

Well....being put on the spot I told them what has been on my mind lately - a study in the book of Revelation. I promote the book whenever I have an opportunity to do so because I am aware of the reluctance of many to get into it.

Anyhow.....I proceeded to tell them what I have been learning, encouraging them to study it to understand the vision John is talking about.

Then...these boys started to share with me stories how they had dreams of Jesus coming! The details shared do not match the pictures we have all seen but it was one where they felt they saw Jesus in a personal way.

I think this is a fulfillment of prophecy about the young men dreaming dreams, seeing visions. In any case these boys were blessed by these dreams. And I am, too, to hear them share it.

That is awesome!! You may have never known about there dreams if you had not brought up Revelation!

Very true. I acknowledge that I am reluctant as well.

It is good to know about kids of that age who are willing to speakout. Mostly they do not.

Recently I had a conversation with a 12 year old who is raised as a Christian by her mother while her father is a Hindu. I was really surprised how she had so much reverence for God. Something that even kids who are raised in Christian homes do not have these days. She even asked questions about God's love and her own personal conviction of sin! I was very encouraged to share her that we are all sinners, but Jesus still loves us.
