The Importance of "Journeying"

It begins with the phrase, "As he journeyed…” I think there is more hope for an enemy of God journeying in full sincerity, even in his error, than for those who purport to be the friends of God and have long since ceased journeying and are just kind of ‘treading water’ or occupying some kind of safe place. There is more hope to convert an enemy who is in motion, however grievous his error (and the error is a consequence, even, of an intensity for God, however misconceived), than there is for those of us who are safely ensconced in correct credos and doctrines but are not moving at all!" ~Art Katz, from "Apostolic Conversion."

I find one of the worst things concerning the increase in teachings on Grace is the decrease in preaching with conviction of over coming and of repentance.
I would say the increase in grace teaching is to do away with the conviction of the spirit over our lives, and to follow hard after Him.

I just think we need to discern the Lords leading.

If this sermon that TMK has recommended by Art Katz is the one I am thinking it is, it is well worth a careful reading. I was even thinking of it recently. It is very powerful and challenging and was Brother Art's gift working at its best. Along with TMK, I can highly recommend it.

Speaking of journeying, there's a book entitled "Journey to Hell" by John Bunyan.
