I have recently had to prepare a presentation to answer some charges concerning the ending of the letter to the Romans, and I have been told that my presentation was edifying to those who have to answer textual critics.

Basically, there are a lot of people who claim that the letter to the Romans originally ended with either chapter 14 or 15, and that the ending was added later by the church. Their arguments are based on textual variants.
I demonstrate why this theory is wrong and give a better explanation: the differences in the manuscripts reveals that heretics like Marcion of Sinope were trying to corrupt the scriptures. Far from shaking up our faith, this issue should strengthen our resolve to defend the Christian faith as it has been revealed in the scriptures.
