Michelle, I tried to download the audio sermons of Grady's Aylward. All I get is a blank screen.

Brother just letting you know, I am unable to download audio sermons from SI.
Every time I tried to download a sermon, I get a blank screen.
One of our sisters wrote SI support and has the same issue regarding the Gladys Aylward messages.
You may want to check into this.

Thanks Greg, it seems to be working now.
Lysa, I run womenofchristianity.com. I know all about her!! Thanks :)
Thank you for bringing up this message Michelle and thank you Greg for posting the links. Gladys is certainly a dear sister and her testimony of how obedience is the remedy for self-pity and selfishness was like a drink of cool water.
This testimony is such a blessing. Are your giving the full portion?
Sorry, double post.
Greg, Thank you so much for archiving these precious testimonies of Gladys Aylward. Her life had always inspired me, but hearing her speak so powerfully in the Holy Spirit and encouraging Christians to give the "full tithe" which is our whole life, over to Christ, really gave me hope that my life is not yet over for the sake of Christ.
I encourage Christians old and young to listen to her testimony. It is not too late for us old ones and a great adventure lies ahead if you are young in the faith.

Hi All,
Trying to find out why the movie about Gladys Aylward was called "Inn of the Sixth Happiness".(not fully accurate movie)
This info is not readily available on the internet search engine.
If anyone knows id be greatful,
thanks staff
Hi Staff,
As a young girl, before I was a Christian, I was inspired by this story because of the Hollywood film. I'm not sure about the reference about the Inn of the Sixth Happiness but I'm aware from documentaries that Gladys was unhappy with the movie because Hollywood threw in a love interest. An important part of Gladys' testimony is that God never answered her prayer for a husband or own children or even a female companion to share the heavy load with. God nevertheless gave her hundreds of children to care for and many were saved as well as miraculous conversions the throughout all her days. She also suffered much and tells us that is indeed what Jesus requires. Denial of self, our own desires and picking up our cross to follow Him into uncharted territory.
Hollywood always adds or detracts from wonderful Christian stories, But the film got much of her story right albeit Gladys was a very small and plain woman and Ingrid Bergman was tall and gorgeous. Still the story stayed in my mind many years before Jesus saved me 😊 Hearing her testimony on these archived audios was explosive and full of the glory of God.

interesting, I just gave Gladys Aylward's biography to a young lady who is new in the faith and loves Jesus deeply.
Hi Guys,
Yeah thanks just why did the Holywood movie arrive at that name?whats its significance?
Hard to get any info on it,staff
I looooooove Gladys Aylward!!!! Such a godly woman!
So I believe that the culture she was in believed that you needed 5 things to be happy: luck, prosperity, longevity, happiness, and wealth. Gladys used a 6th happiness as a springboard to preach Christ.
Thanks Havok,
Ok thats beginning to make sense a bit like the "unkown God" in the new testament as a springboard thanks staff
