Church of England considering transgender re-naming services

Signalling an openness to the idea of new liturgy to mark gender transition, a note sent to synod members from the Church's top civil servant, William Nye, said there was, 'no legal or doctrinal difficulty about a baptised transgendered person re-affirming their baptismal vows' using a different name.

It added no one could be baptised twice, meaning the option of re-baptismal services for people who had transitioned gender was not possible.

Nye said the Church already had services for people who had been through a 'significant personal transition of one kind or another' which could be used to mark gender change. Yet a motion will be voted on in July to introduce new church services, specifically for transgender people. ...

I know that the "Church of England" is not just confined to England but I feel confident enough to say that the recent "Brexit" is about God doing something new in Britian and its about God taking them back to himself.Part of this is taking them out of Europe so he can work without interference from an entity that is completely anti Christian.He is going to make them a "Holy Island"
The "Church of England" will be in the coming years going through a "Brexit".A brexit from the type of stuff in the posted article,

yes actually the conservative anglicans are much more majority world-wide then the comprimised and are already calling for a new leader in england which means they will have a vote of no confidence in the current church of england and start a new one.

The african anglicans are heading this wonderfully.

It is Western society that is comprimsed morally and destroying the Church not other countries of the world. Other countries can persecute the Church but they do not defile it, which is a much greater sin.
