prayer/help for my mother suffering nervous breakdown

Brothers and sisters,

May you add my mother in your prayers who is now suffering a nervous breakdown more than a week now.
The last instance she had this was 22 years ago.

She does not sleep and most of the times talking to other persons not present through what he called "heaven cellphone". She keeps talking about teachings she believes.

She is still asleep this morning (though she is conscious) due to the medicines she took (we have difficulty in making her drink).

(before this happen to my mother) I was drawn in studying demonology(which i myself benefited and had a deeper appropriation of what Jesus done on our behalf) due to my wife's coworker who shares some unnatural behavior of her sister and later she herself.

Examples which Derek Prince shares are those who are still on their right mind but sometimes who lose control and others are those who are completely possess and demons are the one speaking. In the case of my mother she is still conscious of her surroundings and knows the persons visiting her and recalls all her memory (though sometimes she forgwt where she place things). She just have a wrong interpretation of what is happening and manifest her grief/hatred and what she hope things should be, like being a millionare and prosperity of our relatives.

My wife and I once try to cast out demons out of her but this made her violent. She keeps saying that she is on her right mind. Sometimes she say he has the "holy spirit" and consult the "holy apirit" on what she should do. And keeps on talking (about) the bishop of their church. She is an active member of a church (which i left when i got saved)

But does nervous breakdown demonic?

Any practical things you know we can do?

Have you considered she may be narcissistic? We know sin is involved; very religious; delusion has set it that results in lying - makes one feel like keeping your distance because of the rage that may be inflicted upon you.

Tragic. Experts say these people do not change but I like to think that if they submit to the LORD Jesus He will change them. Until then they think everyone else needs repenting.

I think there are people who are out of their mind because of organic problem (in the brain), and others because of demon posession. Just to say.. that not every disease (neurological or psychiatric problems) is caused by a demon possession.

You need discernment for that and also to be led by the Spirit.

Medical causes must be ruled out first.

Sandra, narcissism is a very evil spirit within. I have a 85 year old mom and a 64 year old sister that are very narcissistic, there is no man made cure for narcissism, only God can help these folks. The worst part about narcissism is, an alcoholic can admit they're an alcoholic, but a narcissist person can't admit they're narcissistic, it would make the seem like them have a fault.

We are now iin the hospital.

When mom is awake she still have same behaviour. She is telling us that she is on her right mind and she does not need sleep etc..I know "she is" what she behaves but she is out of bounce and she think things she want to be(i know that this is her unspoken wishes) and has unnatural conclusions often changes moods but aggresive when you go against her word/wish.

On the CT scan, the doctors found that my mother's brain has "masses". They refer us to a neurologist, not a psychiatrist.

yes, my family became a closer now, and God woke me up on things ive neglected....

Am praying for your mother.

Start singing Jesus Loves me when you are in her presents. You may be strong enough to keep the evil from influencing your mind and body. She may not be. Play some Grace music in your home. The computer has some good Grace music on it.

Anything with even the word demon in it, get rid of it, it gives power to it. When you pray you speak the Words; In Jesus Name, the words you speak give power to them specifically to Jesus' name. Get rid of anything in your house that even has reference to the words demon in it and don't say anything around your mother with any activity except the power of Jesus in it. This may not have anything to do with what is effecting your mother, so be sure she see's a doctor for any physical disorder. Careful of drugs, they give our soul/spirit weakness

I don't even like to hear the D word. I know where my strength comes from, in the power of His might not mine.
Please keep us informed of her condition so we know what to pray.

Edit; Just read your last post, I am glad you took her to the doctor. Keep up the good work for your mother and family. God will direct your path. Prov: 3: 5-6

I don't believe a Christian can be possessed by a Demon, only influenced. Jesus won that battle at the Cross.

I will continue to remember your mother and family in prayer.

the doctor said that my mother has bipolar disorder..

They are asking to do more scans bcause of "masses" found in her brain (which has nothing to do with her behavior) which they say came up from other parts of the body. But her xray, ultrasound, n other scans in the body are normal.
Praise God, I claim healing in Jesus name!

The doctor is somewhat pessimistic, n does not want my mother released yet but i told him that I have confidence in God, n we want to go home as soon as possible.
