To support or not support ministries - idols of ministry

When it comes to any ministry and your support of any ministry especially if that support has gone on for years at what point would they cause you to stop that support?

Would any abuse cause you to stop?

Would seeing them preaching a false message cause you to stop supporting them?

Would seeing them supporting some false preachers cause you to stop that support?

If you heard many testimonies of people being abused by that ministry even through legalism would it cause you to stop your support?

If no is the answer to all of them then what would cause you to stop your support?

At what point would a ministry become an idol in your life? Idols tend to make you look the other way when there is something seriously wrong in the camp and you just look away and make excuses for it. Almost like cognitive dissonance

I will support a ministry that I am certainly sure that is deeply rooted in the teaching of Jesus Christ and is stable ministry that cannot be shaken and will never fall away from the TRUTH...

But what if that ministry begin getting into legal trouble with finances? Maybe you find out some abuses are beginning to take place or maybe the leadership is making a gradual change to the extent that they are becoming more authoritarian over the people but yet maybe you have had some good experiences with them in the past?

At what point would you begin to withdraw your contribution and support to that ministry? Or would that ministry be one that can do no wrong regardless?

The ministry I am part of and I support are the same. The reason I am associated with them are,
1. They never ask for money.
2. They never send reports.
3. They put their own money and effort for God's work.
4. They look for God's provision for His work.
5. Absolute purity in money handling.
6. They do not turn their attention (focus) from making disciples to building hospitals and collages! Their focus is always on making disciples as given by the Lord in great commission.

These things do exist and are not dead after George Muller! I am thankful that God has brought me in contact with such a work. Again I cannot expect every ministry to work by these points, nor do I use them to judge others.

Now what will make me stop associating with them is any unfaithfulness in money matter. Jesus warned us clearly that one cannot serve God and money (Luke 16:13). Look the comparison here is not between God and Satan. Everyone knows one cannot serve both. But many ministries think they can serve both God and Money. This is exactly what Jesus warned them against. Any ministry that is not faithful in Money matter is not Serving GOD period, and this is according to the words of Jesus.
